A music teacher of some 20 years experience, in a variety of school types and school systems. I am presently trying to draw upon this experience, to pull together all the threads, to develop a solid learning experience through 1:1 iPad use in the classroom.
How can tasks previously achieved through Chalk board, Hi Fi and manuscript be turned around into multimedia experiences in the classroom? What will the effect be on students after three years ( 1 year at 70 minutes weekly, followed by 2 years at 35 minutes weekly.)? I hope that the result will be an enriched student, not only capable of using technology to create a playlist, but to use it to listen with discernment, compose with discretion and perform with competence. I ll have to watch carefully and hopefully!
